A+ In-Home Tutoring, Inc., has failed to meet mandated provisions for rendering tutoring services to students assigned to it within the prescribed time period therefore violating the terms of its agreement with the Sarasota County School Board for the provision of Title I SES tutoring services. Accordingly, this agreement must be terminated.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the termination of the A+ In-Home Tutoring, Inc. Title I SES Provider Agreement with the School Board of Sarasota County.

FIELD TRIPS14. APPROVAL OF THE SARASOTA HIGH SCHOOL MIGHTY SAILOR BAND FIELD TRIP TO WASHINGTON, D.C. ON JUNE 21, 2012 THROUGH JUNE 25, 2012DescriptionThis is an invited performance from the National Association of Music Education. A performance like this, as part of a National event, is a highly motivational and rewarding experience for the participation students. Students will take part in master classes provided by the US Marine Band and Strings, as well as the National Ballet.

The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 12-065, is in violation of an accepted Expulsion Settlement Agreement for alternative school placement. On September 27, 2011, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 12-065, violated School Board Policy 534(1)(d), Abuse of School Property, Vandalism. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until June 6, 2012.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 12-065, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2011-2012 academic year.
